Safety Turtle saved Bichon Frise twice.
In 2002 my wife Debbie searched the Internet for a pool safety alarm and found an article about your Turtle Alarm System for people and pets around pools. We thought it would be a good idea to purchase a system for our two little Bichon Frise dogs, Pebbles & Torrey.
Torrey had previously fallen into our inground pool. We were both at home that day and heard Pebbles barking wildly; we yanked Torrey from the pool and took her to the veterinarian. She had swallowed an amount of stagnant water that had been on the pool cover over the winter (2 feet deep). The vet ordered a round of antibiotics and fortunately Torrey fully recovered.
Over the seven years we have had Turtles on both our dogs Torrey has fallen in the pool twice. The alarm sounded instantly both times and I was able to get to the pool in seconds to rescue her.
As an added bonus, your wonderful device must rank quite high on any consumer value scale, as the first of the Turtles just stopped working…….seven years after we had first purchased them.
Our own son and daughter are now grown adults and left home many years ago, I guess you could say that our dogs have become our “little children”. Debbie and I can’t thank you enough for inventing the Turtle Alarm. The peace of mind that the device gives us around the pool cannot be measured…..it is invaluable.
